To mark it's 30th anniversary, ORBIS wanted to get people to break down the wall of darkness which is holding so many people hostage - just like another historic moment, when the East and West Germans tore down the Berlin wall. They created a huge dark wall across cyberspace, covered by graffiti depicting blindness-related stories of pain and sorrow. Anyone could help to tear it down by picking up a hammer and choosing a piece to break off. And for a donation, you could get the actual physical piece of the wall that you broke - just like the Berlin Wall.
